AGENCY: U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.

ACTION: Announcement of public meeting of Illinois Advisory Committee.

SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the 
rules and regulations of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights 
(Commission) and the Federal Advisory Committee Act that the Illinois 
Advisory Committee (Committee) will hold a meeting on Friday, May 3, 
2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Central Time for the purpose of 
hearing testimony on fair housing issues in the state.

DATES: Friday, May 3, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. Central Time.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: This meeting is free and open to the public. 
Persons with disabilities requiring reasonable accommodations should

make appropriate arrangements. Members of the public are invited to 
make statements during an open comment period, beginning at 3:30 p.m. 
In addition, members of the public may submit written comments; the 
comments must be received in the regional office within 30 days 
following the meeting. Written comments may be mailed to the Midwestern 
Regional Office, U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, 230 South Dearborn 
St., Suite 2120, Chicago, IL 60604. They may also be faxed to the
