Propanamide, 2-hydroxy-N, N-dimethyl- ; Exemption from the Requirement of a Tolerance

This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of propanamide, 2-hydroxy-N, N-dimethyl- (CAS Reg. No. 35123-06-9) when used as an inert ingredient (solvent/co- solvent) in pesticides applied to growing crops and raw agricultural commodities after harvest under 40 CFR 180.910 or in pesticides applied to animals under 40 CFR 180.930 limited to maximum concentration of 20% by weight in the pesticide formulation. Spring Trading Company, LLC on behalf of BASF Corporation submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), requesting establishment of an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance.
