The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is proposing to amend its spent fuel storage regulations by adding the TN Americas LLC (TN Americas), NUHOMS[supreg] Extended Optimized Storage (EOS) Dry Spent Fuel Storage System to the ``List of approved spent fuel storage casks'' as Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No. 1042. The NUHOMS[supreg] EOS System provides horizontal storage of high burnup spent pressurized water reactor and boiling water reactor fuel assemblies in dry shielded canisters.
