Pursuant to the Federal Clean Air Act (CAA or Act), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision submitted by the State of Texas for the 2008 8-hour ozone national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS). The SIP revision pertains to CAA 2008 ozone NAAQS requirements for vehicle inspection and maintenance and nonattainment new source review in the Dallas/Fort Worth ozone nonattainment area.
