We are adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Airbus Helicopters (Airbus) Model AS332L2 and EC225LP helicopters. This AD requires inspections of the main rotor (M/R) blade attachment pins (attachment pins). This AD was prompted by a report of three cracked attachment pins. The actions of this AD are intended to detect and prevent an unsafe condition on these products.
