We propose to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Saab AB, Saab Aeronautics Model SAAB 340B airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by reports of natural stall events in icing conditions, without prior stall warnings. This proposed AD would require modifying the stall warning system, installing new stall warning computers, and activating the stall warning system. We are proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
