Privacy Act of 1974; System of Records

In accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974, as amended (Privacy Act), the Department of Education (the Department) publishes this notice of a modified system of records entitled ``Secretary's Communications Control System'' (18-01-01), last published in full in the Federal Register on June 4, 1999 (64 FR 30106, 30108-30109) and subsequently amended on December 27, 1999 (64 FR 72405). This system of records is maintained to account for the correspondence received by the Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Senior Officers, or other officials of the Department for whom the Department controls responses.
