Special Local Regulation; Battle of the Bridges, Intracoastal Waterway, Venice, FL

The Coast Guard proposes to establish a temporary special local regulation for certain waters of the Intracoastal Waterway. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on these navigable waters in Venice, FL, during the Battle of the Bridges on September 15, 2018. This proposed rulemaking would prohibit persons and vessels from being in the race area unless authorized by the Captain of the Port St. Petersburg (COTP) or a designated representative.
