Announcement of Fall Unsolicited Grant Competition

AGENCY: United States Institute of Peace.

ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: The agency is Soliciting Applications for Projects that fall 
within its general mandate ``to promote the peaceful resolution of 
international conflict.'' Grants may support, academic research, 
curriculum development, public education, and other programs.

DATES: Application Material Available Upon Request Receipt Date for 
Return of Applications: October 1, 1996. Notification of Awards: 
February 1997.
