Notice of Availability of the Final Supplemental Environmental 
Impact Statement for the Disposal and Reuse of Fort Ord, California

AGENCY: Department of the Army, DoD.

ACTION: Notice of availability.

SUMMARY: In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act and 
the President's Council on Environmental Quality, the Army has prepared 
a Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (FSEIS) for 
disposal of certain excess

property at Fort Ord, California. The FSEIS also analyzes impacts on a 
range of potential reuse alternatives.
    Copies of the FSEIS have been forwarded to various federal, state 
and local agencies, and predetermined interested organizations and 
individuals.

DATES: This FSEIS will be available to the public for 30 days, after 
which the Army will prepare a Record of Decision for the Army action.
