Supplementary Information
Minimum mesh size provisions for Loligo squid were implemented under Amendment 5 to the Fishery Management Plan for the Atlantic Mackerel, Squid, and Butterfish Fisheries (61 FR 14465, April 2, 1996). Discussion at this meeting will focus on the implications of the minimum mesh provisions for the Loligo fishery, including enforcement and implementation concerns.
