AGENCY: Commodity Credit Corporation, USDA.

ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: This notice extends the application deadline for the Market 
Promotion Program for Fiscal Year 1996.

    The deadline for submission of applications for the 1996 MPP has 
been extended to January 22, 1996, due to inclement weather conditions 
in the Washington, DC area which has affected mail delivery service.
    All applications (an original and two copies) must be either hand 
delivered or sent by postal delivery and must be received by 5:00 p.m. 
eastern time, Monday, January 22, 1996, at the following address:
    Hand Delivery: U.S. Department of Agriculture, Foreign Agricultural 
Service, Marketing Operations Staff, Room 4932-S, 14th and Independence 
Avenue SW., Washington, DC 20250-1042.
    Postal Delivery: U.S. Department of Agriculture, Marketing 
Operations Staff, Ag Box 1042, Washington, DC 20250-1042.

other terms and requirements of the MPP, contact the Marketing 
Operations Staff, FAS. USDA at the address above or telephone (202)
