Voluntary Foreign Aid Advisory Committee; Notice of a Meeting

    Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, notice is hereby 
given of a meeting of the newly appointed Advisory Committee on 
Voluntary Foreign Aid (ACVFA).

    Date: December 18, 1997 (8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.).
    Location: State Department, Loy Henderson Auditorium, 23rd 
Street Entrance.
    This will be the first public meeting of the newly appointed 
Advisory Committee on Voluntary Foreign Aid (ACVFA). Different 
panels of experts will help the committee determine their workplan 
and to select focus issues for this new term.
    The meeting is free and open to the public. HOWEVER, 
NOTIFICATION BY DECEMBER 15, 1997, THROUGH THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE 
HEADQUARTERS IS REQUIRED. Persons wishing to attend the meeting must 
FAX their name, organization, birthdate and social security number
