Amendment to the Production Flexibility Contract Regulations; 
Extension of Comment Period

AGENCY: Commodity Credit Corporation, USDA.

ACTION: Interim rule with request for comments; extension of the 
comment period.

SUMMARY: In the interim rule published in the Federal Register on 
October 23, 1997, (62 FR 55150), comments were requested by November 
24, 1997. Interested parties have requested that the comment period be 
extended to provide additional time for comments.

DATE: This rule was effective on October 23, 1997. Comments on this 
rule must be received on or before December 1, 1997, to be assured of 
consideration.
