Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
[Docket No. RP99-291-000]

Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corporation; Notice of Proposed
Changes in FERC Gas Tariff

May 6, 1999.
Take notice that on April 30, 1999 Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line
Corporation (Transco) tendered for filing tariff sheets to its FERC Gas
Tariff, Third Revised Volume No. 1, which tariff sheets are enumerated
in Appendix A attached to the filing. Such tariff sheets are proposed
to be effective November 1, 1999.
On September 25, 1998, as amended on October 5, 1998, Transco filed
an application to abandon Rate Schedule LG-A service provided to PG
Energy, Inc. and Philadelphia Gas Works and to provide increased
service under Rate Schedule LG-A to NUI Corporation. On October 30,
1998, the Commission granted approval of the abandonment of service to
PGE and PGW, but dismissed Transco's request to provide increased
service to NUI. On November 6, 1998, Transco filed a petition
requesting that the Commission grant authorization to provide service
to NUI on a temporary basis. The Commission issued an order on November
12, 1998 granting Transco's request for a limited-term certificate. In
compliance with the November 12 Order, Transco is filing to (1)
implement two new Part 284 services, Rate Schedule LNG (Liquefied
Natural Gas Storage Service) and Rate Schedule LNG-R (Released
Liquefied Natural Gas Storage Services) and (2) modify the rate and the
General Terms and Conditions tariff sheets to incorporate these new
services.
In accordance with the provisions of Section 154.2(d) of the
Commission's Regulations, copies of this filing are available for
public inspection, during regular business hours, in a convenient form
and place at Transco's main offices at 2800 Post Oak Boulevard in
Houston, Texas. In addition, Transco is serving copies of the instant
filing to its affected customers and interested State Commissions.
Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should
file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy
Regulatory Commission, see First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426,
in accordance with Sections 385.214 or 385.211 of the Commission's
Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed in
accordance with Section 154.210 of the

Commission's Regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission
in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve
to make protestants parties to the proceedings. Any person wishing to
become a party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing
are on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection
in the Public Reference Room. This filing may be viewed on the web at
