Privacy Act of 1974; Notice of the Removal of a System of Records

    Pursuant to the provision of the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 
552a), the Library Staff (JMD), Department of Justice, is removing a 
published Privacy Act system of records entitled ``Bookstream, JUSTICE/
JMD-004.'' JUSTICE/JMD-004 was last published in the Federal Register 
on December 11, 1987 (52 FR 47182).
    Bookstream no longer exists as a system of records. It was tested 
but never implemented as a functional library circulation system. The 
circulation function was never automated and is still being performed 
manually in all Library Staff locations. Therefore, Bookstream, is 
removed from the Department's compilation of Privacy Act systems.
