Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line Corporation; Notice of Tariff 
Filing

June 9, 1999.
    Take notice that on June 4, 1999, Transcontinental Gas Pipe Line 
Corporation (Transco) tendered for filing to become part of its FERC 
Gas Tariff, Original Volume No. 2, Eighteenth Revised Sheet No. 1 and 
Second Revised Sheet No. 859. Such tariff sheets are proposed to be 
effective June 4, 1999.
    Transco states that the purpose of the instant filing is to 
terminate Transco's Rate Schedules X-94 in compliance with the 
Commission's order issued May 4, 1999 in Docket No. CP98-236-000. Such 
order authorized among other things, the abandonment of the exchange 
service performed under Transco's Rate Schedule X-94. Additionally, the 
Table of Contents in Transco's Original Volume No. 2 Tariff has been 
updated to reflect the termination of Rate Schedule X-94.
    Transco respectfully requests that the Commission grant a waiver of 
the notice requirements in Section 154.207 of its Regulations, and any 
other waivers that may be necessary, in order that the enclosed tariff 
sheets be made effective as proposed herein.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE, 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as 
provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests 
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
the proceedings. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission 
and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
