Formations of, Acquisitions by, and Mergers of Bank Holding 
Companies; Correction

    This notice corrects a notice (FR Doc. 99-16859) published on pages 
36016 and 36017 of the issue for Friday, July 2, 1999.
    Under the Federal Reserve Bank of New York heading, the entry for 
Rome, MHC, Rome New York, is revised to read as follows:
    A. Federal Reserve Bank of New York (Betsy Buttrill White, Senior 
Vice President) 33 Liberty Street, New York, New York 10045-0001:
    1. Rome, MHC, Rome, New York; to become a bank holding company by 
acquiring 51 percent of the voting shares of Rome Bancorp, Inc., Rome, 
New York, and thereby indirectly acquire The Rome Savings Bank, Rome, 
New York.
    In connection with this application, Rome Bancorp, Inc., Rome, New 
York, also has applied to become a bank holding company by acquiring 
100 percent of the voting shares of The Rome Savings Bank, Rome, New 
York.
    Comments on this application must be received by July 26, 1999.
