Housing and Child-Occupied Facilities; State of Texas's Authorization 
Application; Correction

AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

ACTION: Notice; correction.

SUMMARY: In the Federal Register of April 16, 1999 (64 FR 18906) (FRL-
6073-6), EPA announced that the State of Texas had submitted an 
application for EPA approval to administer and enforce training and 
certification requirements, training program accreditation 
requirements, and work practice standards for lead-based paint 
activities in target housing and child-occupied facilities under 
section 402 of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). The notice also 
announced a 45-day public comment period and an opportunity to request 
a public hearing on the application. The document incorrectly listed a 
certification requirement. This notice corrects that error. In FR Doc. 
99-9607, on page 18907, third column, first full paragraph, the second 
sentence, which reads ``The appropriate certification exam must be 
taken every 3 years for certain disciplines.'' is hereby removed.
