[Declaration of Disaster #3199; Amendment #1]


State of Iowa

    In accordance with notices received from the Federal Emergency 
Management Agency dated July 27 and July 30, 1999, the above-numbered 
Declaration is hereby amended to include Bremer, Buchanan, Cerro Gordo, 
Chickasaw, Fayette, Floyd, Howard, Mitchell, and Worth Counties in the 
State of Iowa as a disaster area due to damages caused by severe storms 
and flooding beginning on July 2, 1999 and continuing.
    In addition, applications for economic injury loans from small 
businesses located in the following contiguous counties may be filed 
until the specified date at the previously designated location: 
Allamakee, Clayton, Hancock, Winnebago, Winneshiek, and Wright Counties 
in Iowa, and Fillmore, Freeborn, and Mower Counties in Minnesota.
    All other information remains the same, i.e., the deadline for 
filing applications for physical damage is September 19, 1999, and for 
economic injury the deadline is April 24, 2000.
    The economic injury number for the State of Minnesota is 9D4800.
