U-T Offshore System; Notice of Proposed Changes in FERC Gas 
Tariff

August 4, 1999.
    Take notice that on August 2, 1999 
U-T Offshore System (U-TOS), tendered for filing a part of its FERC Gas 
Tariff, Third Revised Volume No. 1, the following tariff sheets to be 
effective August 1, 1999:

Sub Eleventh Revised Sheet No. 73
Sub Sixth Revised Sheet No. 73A
Sub Fifth Revised Sheet No. 73B
Original Sheet No. 73C
Original Sheet No. 73D

    U-TOS asserts that the purpose of this filing is to comply with the 
Commission's April 2, 1999, letter order in the captioned proceeding 
regarding

Order No. 587-K, Docket No. RM96-1-011. Pipelines must comply with the 
adoption of Version 1.2 of the GISB standards (284.10(b)) and the 
standards regarding the posting of information on websites and 
retention of electronic information (284.10(c)(3)(ii) through (v)).
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, 
in accordance with Sections 385.214 or 385.211 of the Commission's 
Rules and Regulations. All such motions or protests must be filed in 
accordance with Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. 
Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants 
parties to the proceedings. Any person wishing to become a party must 
file a motion to intervene. Copies of this filing are on file with the 
Commission and are available for public inspection in the Public 
Reference Room. This filing may be viewed on the web at http://
