Summary
The Department of the Treasury, as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on proposed and/or continuing information collections, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, Public Law 104-13 (44 U.S.C. 3506(c)(2)(A)). Currently, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms within the Department of the Treasury is soliciting comments concerning the Explosives Delivery Record.

Abstract: This information collection activity is used to verify distributors' compliance with Federal laws and regulations, thereby documenting the flow of explosives in commerce and as a tracing tool to prevent misuse and traffic in stolen explosives. The record retention period for this information collection is 5 years. Current Actions: There are no changes to this information collection and it is being submitted for extension purposes only. Type of Review: Extension. Affected Public: Business or other for profit. Estimated Number of Respondents: 25,000. Estimated Time Per Respondent: 6 minutes. Estimated Total Annual Burden Hours: 2,500.
