Notice of Prospective Patent License

AGENCY: National Aeronautics and Space Administration.

ACTION: Notice of prospective patent license.

SUMMARY: NASA hereby gives notice that Tyco Healthcare Group LP, of 
Mansfield, MA, has applied for an exclusive license to practice the 
invention disclosed in U.S. Patent No. 5,738,441, Canadian Patent 
Application No. 2,226,506, European Patent Application No. 96925292.3, 
Japanese Patent Application No. 9-505990, New Zealand Patent 
Application No. 313394 and Australian Patent Application No. 65441/96 
entitled ``Electronic Clinical Predictive Thermometer Using Logarithm 
for Temperature Prediction,'' which is assigned to the United States of 
America as represented by the Administrator of the National Aeronautics 
and Space Administration. Written objections to the prospective grant 
of a license should be sent to Diana M. Cox, Patent Counsel, John F. 
Kennedy Space Center.

DATES: Responses to this Notice must be received on or before February 
11, 2000.
