Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America; Notice of Conference

December 16, 1999.
    Take notice that the Commission's staff will convene a conference 
in the above-captioned proceeding on Tuesday, January 25, 2000, 
beginning at 10:00 a.m. in the Commission meeting room at the offices 
of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., 
Washington, DC 20426.
    On November 10, 1998, the Commission approved a settlement 
implementing auction procedures by which Natural Gas Pipeline Company 
of America allocates capacity on its system. Under the settlement, a 
review of the auction procedures must be held approximately one year 
after their implementation. The purpose of this conference is to begin 
this review.
    All interested persons are permitted to attend.
