POSTPONEMENT OF PRELIMINARY RESULTS OF ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW: The
Department initiated the administrative review of the antidumping duty
order on carbon steel butt-weld pipe fittings from Thailand on August
27, 1998 (63 FR 45796). The current deadline for the preliminary
results in this review is April 1, 1999. In accordance with section
751(a)(3)(A) of the Tariff Act of 1930 (``the Act''), as amended, the
Department finds that it is not practicable to complete this
administrative review within the original time frame. (See memorandum
from Holly Kuga to Robert LaRussa, dated March 3, 1999). Thus the
Department is extending the time limit for completion of the
preliminary results until August 2, 1999, which is 365 days after the
last day of the anniversary month of the order. The final determination
will occur within 120 days of the publication of the preliminary
results.

    Dated: March 4, 1999.
Holly A. Kuga,
Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Import Administration.
