Summary
The Federal Communications Commission released a Report and Order which eliminated the rules governing the issuance of franks and certain reports by communications common carriers. The elimination of this rule does not restrict privileges that are statutorily recognized, and will not affect other obligations imposed by the Communications Act, or confer any additional pricing flexibility on dominant or other carriers.
