Room 962. Interested parties may submit comments on an agreement to the 
Secretary, Federal Maritime Commission, Washington, DC 20573, within 10 
days of the date this notice appears in the Federal Register.

Synopsis: The proposed amendment would expand the geographic scope of 
the Agreement to include Haiti and Jamaica. It also amends the 
independent action and service contract provisions of the Agreement to 
conform to the Ocean Shipping Reform Act of 1998 and deletes Sea-Land 
as a party to the Agreement.

Synopsis: The proposed Agreement would permit the parties to charter 
space to one another in the trade between United States Atlantic and 
Pacific Coast ports and ports in France, Spain, Italy, and Israel. For 
purposes of this Agreement, Italia and D'Amico will be considered a 
single party.
