Summary
The Minerals Management Service is extending the April 6, 1999, Federal oil royalty valuation workshop (Workshop 3). On March 12, 1999 (64 FR 12267), MMS announced it would reopen the comment period and hold three workshops to discuss unresolved issues pertaining to the proposed Federal oil valuation rule. The workshops were scheduled in Houston, Texas, March 24; Albuquerque, New Mexico, March 25; and Washington, D.C., April 6. Based on the various proposals and questions that surfaced during the Houston and Albuquerque workshops, the workshop participants agreed that additional time would be needed to resolve those questions and evaluate the proposals. Therefore, MMS is extending the workshop in Washington, D.C., to 2 days.
