Summary
The Minerals Management Service hereby gives notice that it is extending the public comment period on a supplementary proposed rule, which was published in the Federal Register on July 16, 1998, (63 FR 38355). The proposed rule amends the royalty valuation regulations for crude oil produced from Federal leases. In response to requests for additional time and to provide commenters adequate time to submit comments after the completion of the public workshops on April 7, 1999, MMS will extend the comment period 15 days.

Comments must be submitted on or before April 27, 1999.
