Summary

The Corporation for National and Community Service (Corporation) invites elected officials and other representatives of Indian tribal governments to participate in a working group to facilitate input in the development of Corporation policies that significantly or uniquely affect Indian tribal governments and their communities.

Supplementary Information

The Corporation is a government corporation that engages Americans of all ages and backgrounds in community-based service, including through AmeriCorps. This service addresses the nation's education, public safety, human, and environmental needs to achieve direct and demonstrable results. In doing so, the Corporation fosters civic responsibility and strengthens the ties that bind us together as a people. In light of Executive Order 13084, the Corporation seeks to provide an effective mechanism through which elected officials and other representatives of Indian tribal governments may contribute meaningful and timely input in the development of Corporation policies that significantly or uniquely affect their communities. Individuals interested in participating in a working group for this purpose should contact the Corporation as stated above.
