ACTION: Announcement of meeting. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: Notice is hereby given, pursuant to the provisions of the rules and regulations of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights (Commission) and the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA) that a meeting of the Texas Advisory Committee (Committee) to the Commission will be held at 1:00 p.m. (Central Time), Friday, January 12, 2018, and 12:00 p.m. (Central Time) Wednesday, January 31, 2018. The purpose of the meetings is for the Committee to discuss potential speakers to invite to voting rights briefing.
