Description of Relief Sought: Southern Utah University (SUU) petitioned the FAA for an exemption from the general curriculum requirements provided for in 14 Code of Federal Regulations Sec. 147.21(a)-(c), and appendices B, C and D. SUU requested relief to the extent necessary to allow it to utilize a credit hour system, and propose curriculum to coincide with emerging aviation maintenance technician airman certification standards.
