Abstract: This collection of information involves the collection and submission to the Commission of information from registered entities concerning new products, rules, and rule amendments pursuant to the procedures outlined in Sec. Sec. 40.2, 40.3, 40.5, 40.6, and 40.10 found in 17 CFR part 40. An agency may not conduct or sponsor, and a person is not required to respond to, a collection of information unless it displays a currently valid OMB control number. On June 7, 2018, the Commission published in the Federal Register notice of the proposed extension of this information collection and provided 60 days for public comment on the proposed extension, 83 FR 26436 (``60-Day Notice''). The Commission received public comments regarding its burden estimates on the 60-Day Notice, and accordingly, has adjusted the burden. Burden Statement: Registered entities must comply with certification and approval requirements which include an explanation and analysis when seeking to implement new products, rules, and rule amendments, including changes to product terms and conditions.
