In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act, Pub. L. 92-463, as amended, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration announces an open meeting of the NASA Advisory Council (NAC).

The meeting will be open to the public up to the seating capacity of the room. The meeting will be closed to the public on Thursday, December 6, 2001, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in accordance with 5 U.S.C. 552b(c)9(B), to hear a briefing on Space Shuttle privatization.
