SUMMARY:
Notice is hereby given that a complaint was filed with the U.S. International Trade Commission on December 19, 2014, under section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, 19 U.S.C. 1337, on behalf of Cisco Systems, Inc. of San Jose, California. The complaint alleges violations of section 337 based upon the importation into the United States, the sale for importation, and the sale within the United States after importation of certain network devices, related software and components thereof by reason of infringement of certain claims of U.S. Patent No. 7,023,853 (“the '853 patent”); U.S. Patent No. 6,377,577 (“the '577 patent”); U.S. Patent No. 7,460,492 (“the '492 patent”); U.S. Patent No. 7,061,875 (“the '875 patent”); U.S. Patent No. 7,224,668 (“the '668 patent”); and U.S. Patent No. 8,051,211 (“the '211 patent”), and alleges that an industry in the United States exists as required by subsection (a)(2) of section 337.
The complainant requests that the Commission institute an investigation and, after the investigation, issue a limited exclusion order and a cease and desist order.
