Notice of meeting.
SUMMARY:
The Lynn Canal-Icy Strait (LCIS) Resource Advisory Committee (RAC) will hold a virtual meeting by phone and/or video conference. The committee is authorized under the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Act (the Act) and operates in compliance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act. The purpose of the committee is to improve collaborative relationships and to provide advice and recommendations to the Forest Service concerning projects and funding consistent with Title II of the Act. The committee also makes recommendations on recreation fee proposals for sites on the Tongass National Forest within boroughs associated with the LCIS RAC, consistent with the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act. DATES:
The meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Alaska Daylight Time. All RAC meetings are subject to cancellation. For status of the meeting prior to attendance, please contact Robin Hasselquist by phone at 907-789-6212 or email at robin.hasselquist@usda.gov.
