Notice of public meeting.
SUMMARY:
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has selected technical experts to serve as Special Government Employees (SGEs) on a review panel under the authority of the Board of Scientific Counselors (BOSC), a federal advisory committee to the Office of Research and Development (ORD). Selected experts will review ORD's draft documents detailing scientific studies supporting the development of transcriptomic-based reference values and their implementation as a new EPA Transcriptomic Assessment Product (ETAP). The ETAP is a proposed ORD assessment product that utilizes a standardized short-term in vivo study ( printed page 40262) design and data analysis procedures to develop transcriptomic-based reference values for data poor chemicals.
DATES:
The meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday, July 12, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. All times noted are Eastern Time and approximate. The meeting may adjourn early if all business is finished. Attendees should register by July 3, 2023, at https://EPA-ETAP_July_meeting.eventbrite.com. Requests for making oral presentations at the meeting will be accepted through July 3, 2023. Comments may be submitted through Friday, July 7, 2023.
