ACTION:
Notice; extension of public comment period.
SUMMARY:
We, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), announce that we are extending the comment period for the public to review a draft habitat conservation plan (HCP) and a draft environmental action statement and low-effect screening form. These documents are associated with the Colton/San Bernardino Regional Tertiary Treatment and Water Reclamation Authority and San Bernardino Municipal Water Department's application under the Endangered Species Act for a permit ( printed page 27780) associated with incidental take of the Santa Ana sucker ( Catostomus santaanae). Comments previously submitted need not be resubmitted, as they will be fully considered in preparing the final documents.
DATES:
The comment period for the revised HCP and draft environmental action statement, notice of which published on March 28, 2024 (89 FR 21539 ), is extended by 7 days. Comments submitted online at https://www.regulations.gov/ must be received by 11:59 p.m. eastern time on May 6, 2024. Hardcopy comments must be received on or before May 6, 2024.
