Notice of public meeting.

SUMMARY:

The Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council's Bluefish Advisory Panel will hold a public meeting, jointly with the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission Bluefish Advisory Panel.

DATES:

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST. For agenda details, see SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION .

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss recent performance of the bluefish commercial and recreational fisheries and develop the 2026 Fishery Performance Report. This report will be considered by the Scientific and Statistical Committee, the Monitoring Committee, the Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council, and the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission when reviewing the previously implemented 2027 bluefish catch and landings limits as well as commercial or recreational management measures.
