On June 1, 2026, and supplemented July 13, 2026, the Appalachian Power Company, filed an application to amend the Water Management Plan for the ( printed page 51700) Smith Mountain Project No. 2210. On July 21, 2026, the Appalachian Power Company filed a request to withdraw its request to amend the Water Management Plan application.

No motion in opposition to the request for withdrawal has been filed, and the Commission has taken no action to disallow the withdrawal. Pursuant to Rule 216(b) of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure,^[1] the withdrawal of the application became effective on August 5, 2026, and this proceeding is hereby terminated.
