ACTION:
Notice.
The Department of State hereby provides notice that Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau has signed nine determinations pursuant to section 2(b)(2) of the Migration and Refugee Assistance Act of 1962, on the nine dates listed below, each addressing one of the following nine countries: Equatorial Guinea, Palau, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Burundi, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Guatemala. Each determination stated: “pursuant to section 2(b)(2) of the Migration and Refugee Assistance Act of 1962 (the Act) (22 U.S.C. 2601(b)(2)), Presidential Determination Number 99-6 of November 30, 1998, and Department of State Delegation 513, I hereby designate [vulnerable] * migrants in [name of country] as eligible for assistance under section 2(b)(2) of the Act, and determine that such assistance will contribute to the foreign policy interests of the United States. This determination shall be transmitted to the President and published in the Federal Register .”
* The word “vulnerable” is included in the determinations regarding Equatorial Guinea, Palau, and Liberia, only.
Determination dates: Equatorial Guinea, October 3, 2025; Palau, December 23, 2025; Liberia, January 6, 2026; Sierra Leone, April 7, 2026; Burundi, April 8, 2026; Saint Kitts and Nevis, April 15, 2026; Dominican Republic May 27, 2026; Honduras, September 14, 2026; Guatemala, September 21, 2026.
