Deletions

On September 17, 2026 (91 FR 58853), the Committee for Purchase From People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled published notice of proposed deletions from the Procurement List. The Committee received one comment but did not see the comment until after posting the Notice of final deletion in the Federal Register on October 22, 2026 (91 FR 66689). The commenter suggested that prior to proposing services for PL deletion the Commission should evaluate various employment-related consequences for individuals who are blind or have a significant disability. This service was proposed for deletion under 41 CFR 51-6.8(b) because the Government agency was no longer procuring the service. As a result, further evaluation on potential employment impacts is neither required nor warranted.

After consideration of the relevant matter presented, the Committee has determined that the product(s) listed below are no longer suitable for procurement by the Federal Government under 41 U.S.C. 8501-8506 and 41 CFR 51-2.4.
