Notice of Availability of Funds Program Announcement 99006 Public 
Health Conference Support Grant Program; Amendment

    A notice announcing the availability of Fiscal Year 1998 funds for 
the Public Health Conference Support Grant Program was published in the 
Federal Register on June 9, 1998, (Vol. 63 FR No. 110). The notice is 
amended as follows:
    On page 31499, second column, under ``B. Eligible Applicants'', the 
first paragraph should read:
    Applications may be submitted to CDC by public and private non-
profit organizations and by governments and their agencies; that is, 
universities, colleges, research institutions, hospitals, other public 
and private non-profit organizations, State and local governments or 
their bonafide agents, and federally-recognized Indian tribal 
governments, Indian tribes, or Indian tribal organizations.
