AGENCY: United States Information Agency.

ACTION: Notice.

SUMMARY: The U.S. Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy will meet on 
October 21, in Room 600, 301 4th Street, SW., Washington DC, from 10:00 
a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
    At 10:00 a.m. the Commission will meet with Ambassador William 
Courtney, Special Advisor to the Under Secretary of State for 
Management, to discuss consolidation from the perspective of the State 
Department and his role as State Department liaison to USIA.
