Federal Acquisition Regulation; Corrections

AGENCIES: Department of Defense (DOD), General Services Administration 
(GSA), and National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

ACTION: Correcting amendments.

SUMMARY: The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense 
Acquisition Regulations Council are issuing amendments to FAC 97-07, 
FAR case 97-004B, Reform of Affirmative Action in Federal Procurement, 
published in the Federal Register at 63 FR 36120, July 1, 1998, to 
correct the language concerning the use of the price evaluation 
adjustment for small disadvantaged business concerns. The interim rule 
goes into effect on January 1, 1999.

EFFECTIVE DATE: January 1, 1999.

    Government Procurement. Accordingly, 48 CFR Part 19 is corrected as 
follows:

    1. The authority citation for 48 CFR Part 19 continues to read as 
follows:

    Authority: 41 U.S.C. 486(c); 10 U.S.C. chapter 137; and 42 
U.S.C. 2473(c).

    2. In section 19.201, paragraph (b), add the sentence following the 
sixth sentence to read as follows:
