Public Information Collection Requirement Submitted to Office of 
Management and Budget for Review

AGENCY: Commodity Futures Trading Commission.

ACTION: Notice of Information Collection 2028-0026, Gross Margining of 
Omnibus Accounts.

SUMMARY: The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has submitted 
information collection 3038-0026, Gross Margining of Omnibus Accounts, 
to OMB for review and clearance under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 
1995, Pub. L. 104-13. A carrying futures commission merchant (``FCM'') 
is required to maintain a written representation from the originating 
FCM if it allows a person trading through an omnibus account to margin 
positions in the account at a lower than normal level because a spread 
or hedge position is involved.

DATES: Comments must be received on or before November 20, 1998.
