[Declaration of Disaster #3140, #3141]


State of California (and a Contiguous County in Arizona)

    Riverside County and the contiguous counties of Imperial, Orange, 
San Bernardino, and San Diego in the State of California, and La Paz 
County in the State of Arizona constitute a disaster area as a result 
of a fire which occurred on August 31, 1998. Applications for loans for 
physical damage from this disaster may be filed until the close of 
business on December 14, 1998 and for economic injury until the close 
of business on July 15, 1999 at the address listed below or other 
locally announced locations: U.S. Small Business Administration, 
Disaster Area 4 Office, P.O. Box 13795, Sacramento, CA 95853-4795.
    The interest rates are:
