NorAm Gas Transmission Company; Notice of Proposed Changes in 
FERC Gas Tariff

November 12, 1998.
    Take notice that on November 6, 1998, NorAm Gas Transmission 
Company (NGT) tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas Tariff, 
Fourth Revised volume No. 1, the following revised tariff sheets to be 
effective November 1, 1998:

Docket No. RP98-259-000

Substitute Thirteenth Revised Sheet No. 5
Substitute Thirteenth Revised Sheet No. 6

Docket No. TM99-2-31-000

Substitute Fourteenth Revised Sheet No. 5
Substitute Fourteenth Revised Sheet No. 6

    NGT states that this filing is being submitted to reflect 
administrative corrections related to NGT's approved Electric Power 
Costs (EPC) surcharge with respect to its inclusion in the Maximum and 
Minimum Commodity and Overrun Rates.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., 
Washington, D.C.

20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and 
Regulations. All such protests must be filed as provided in Section 
154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests will be considered by 
the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but

of this filing are on file with the Commission and are available for 
public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
