Gulf States Transmission Corporation; Notice of Compliance Filing

November 18, 1998.
    Take notice that on November 16, 1998, Gulf States Transmission 
Corporation (Gulf States), tendered for filing as part of its FERC Gas 
Tariff, Original Volume No. 1, the following revised tariff sheets, 
with an effective date of November 2, 1998:

First Revised Sheet No. 26
First Revised Sheet No. 50
Original Sheet No. 50A
Original Sheet No. 50B
Sub Second Revised Sheet No. 52
First Revised Sheet No. 53C
Sub Third Revised Sheet No. 58G

    Gulf States states that the tendered sheets are filed in compliance 
with the Letter Order issued in this docket by the Commission on 
October 30, 1998.
    Any person desiring to protest this filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., 
Washington, D.C. 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed as 
provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's Regulations. Protests 
will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate 
action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to 
the proceedings. Copies of this filing are on file with the Commission 
and are available for public inspection in the Public Reference Room.
