Continental Natural Gas, Inc.; Notice of Corporate Name Change

December 4, 1998.
    Take notice that on December 2, 1998, Continental Natural Gas, Inc. 
(Continental), tendered for filing in the above-docketed proceedings a 
notice concerning a change in its corporate name.
    Continental informs the Commission that effective October 16, 1998, 
the name of Continental Natural Gas, Inc. has been changed to CMS 
Continental Natural Gas, Inc. Continental requests that the Commission 
modify its records in the above-docketed proceedings, including the 
certificates granted to Continental to reflect the new name. 
Continental states that its corporate name change is a change in name 
only and does not reflect any substantive change in operation.
    Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should 
file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE, Washington, DC 20426, in 
accordance with Sections 385.211 and 385.214 of the Commission's Rules 
and Regulations. All such motions must be filed on or before December 
21, 1998, as provided in Section 154.210 of the Commission's 
regulations. Protests will be considered by the Commission in 
determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to 
make protestants parties to the proceedings. Any person wishing to 
become a party must file a motion to intervene. Copies of the filing 
are on file with the Commission and are available for public inspection 
in the Public Reference Room.
